About the impact of differences in the meter intervals lengths of rods sets on the accuracy of leveling

The peculiarities of the mechanism of accumulation of deviations of the lengths of individual meter intervals from the length of an average meter under high-precision leveling in mountain conditions are considered. The analysis and calculation of the possible error values caused by the action of the source of errors are performed, and a formula is given for introducing additional corrections for the leveling of uniformly directed ramps of considerable length.
