The estimation of gravitational harmonic coefficients of second degree and the coordinates of the Earth’s figure axis was made from the least squares adjustment of recent global Earth gravity models including EIGEN-IS solution coming from CHAMP satellite. The time-independent components (at epoch 1997) of the Earth’s inertial tensor and the time-dependent components of the tensor of inertia were estimated from given information on the secular and periodic variations of harmonic coefficient of second degree and the dynamical ellipticity H D.
