3D visualizations are source of relevant and useful information for economy as well as for town and country planning. Methods of presentation of points cloud data acquired from aerial laser scanning (LIDAR) with application of rendering and animation were devised. For the visualization of the points cloud following applications prepared by TerraSolid for the Microstation environment were used: TerraScan for preparing of the Numerical Terrain Model, TerraModeler for rendering of selected objects with shaded surface and TerraPhoto for elaborating animations along the projected camera pathways.
