Application of GIS for visualization of the flood-prone areas, taking into account morphology and lithology of river valley (on the example of river valleys of the Prybeskydskyy Precarpathian region)

This article discusses the possibility of floods GIS-modeling at the height of terrain, rock lithology, which affects the infiltration of water into the depth of the layers. Into account the morphological features of the valleys, in particular, their restrictions and sharp bends. Found that these characteristics have greater effects on the lift height of water, whereas the spreading area is dependent on the width  of the valley and the confluence of large affluents.
