The problem of estimation of functional usability of radio electronic circuits (REC) by applying the confidence ellipsoid method is considered in this article. The index of probability of the functional usability is chosen as that of the functional usability. A method which is based on the comparison of the domain of functional usability with the confidence domain of dispersion in the course of operation (such a method enables us to obtain an analytical relation for calculation of the probability of functional usability of REC) is suggested and substantiated. This method is implemented in the example of evaluation of functional usability of a band filter.
