Іnfluence of acoustic radiation of ultrasonic range on modification of natural clinoptilolite by ions of argentums

It was found that under the action of acoustic vibrations of the ultrasonic (US) range, the rate of sorption of Argentum ions and the static capacity of clinoptilolite are much higher than for the original natural zeolite. Pre-activation of the zeolite at 350 °С allows to increase the content of Argentum ions.An increase in both the power of the US-radiation and the modification temperature makes it possible to increase the static capacity of the zeolite. It is shown that the process of modification of clinoptilolite occurs mainly in the transition region.

ANALYSIS OF POULTRY MANURE UTILISATION METHODS TO PRODUCE ORGANIC FERTILISER

This article provides an overview of the poultry manure utilisation issues. It gives a comparative analysis of the methods of composting and vermiculation, production of organic-mineral fertilisers, granulation and thermal drying of the output raw product. Integrated combination of granulation and thermal drying is considered to be the most efficient in the poultry manure processing technology.

INVESTIGATION OF ACTIVATION OF NATURAL CLINOPTYLOLITE BY HIGH-FREQUENCY ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION

Natural clinoptilolite is used in a variety of technological processes, in particular as sorbents. In order to achieve high technological and techno-economic indicators of the processes in which zeolite is used, it is necessary to provide them with the highest possible sorption ability. This is achieved by activating natural zeolites by physical, physico-chemical and chemical methods. One of the promising methods of activating natural zeolites is their treatment in the field of ultrahigh-frequency electromagnetic radiation.

Investigation of the Processes of Chemical (Acid) Labilizing of Clinoptilolite

The results of research of the chemical activation process of clinoptilolite from Sokirnytskyi field are shown. As a result of the research, the effectiveness of the influence on zeolite hydrochloric and sulfuric acids are compared. It should be noted that the advantage is on the side of hydrochloric acid. It was established that the increase in the concentration of sulfuric acid and the time of zeolite processing leads only to the increase in the content of the amorphous phase.

Determination of an Impact of the Composition on the pH Level and the Concentration of Ammonium Nitrogen in Soil of Pustomyty Distract, Lviv Region

This research involves studying the application of palygorskite from Dashukivka Deposit and clinoptilolite from Sokyrnytsia Deposit in production of organic fertilizers prolonged. It is found that maximum ammonia sorption capacity is 1.56・~10-2 mg-eq/g of sorbents. The composition proposed has a positive impact on condition of the studied soils. The pH level of soil solution shifts toward neutral, and the level of ammonium nitrogen is uniform throughout 24 days.

Сорбція іонів хрому із водних розчинів природним клиноптилолітом

The adsorption properties of Transcarpathian clinoptilolite regarding Cr (VI) ions is studied. It was found that the adsorption isotherm has s-like form and belongs to the isotherm of type II. It is established that the adsorption proceeds further after the formation of monomolecular adsorption layer. It leads to the cteation of dimolecular layer. Вивчено адсорбційні властивості закарпатського клиноптилоліту стосовно іонів  Cr (VI). З’ясовано, що ізотерма адсорбції має s-подібний вигляд і належить до ізотерми  ІІ типу.

The use of clinoptilolite and synthetic zeolites for removal of petroleum substances

In the present paper the sorption of petroleum substances such as diesel fuels on zeolite beds was investigated. A natural occurring zeolite clinoptilolite, and mixtures of clinoptilolite and synthetic zeolites Na-P1 and Na-X type, in the ratio 3:1, were used in this study. Natural zeolite acquired from the mine tuffs in Sokyrnytsya (Ukraine). In order to obtain synthetic zeolites, F-class fly ash (Kozienice Power Plant, Poland) with sodium hydroxide was used and later it underwent the hydrothermal conversion.
