The article is methodically and compositionally subordinated to the ideological design of the investigation, which consists in determining the degree of legitimacy of moral norms of 111 journalism concerning children. Сonsequently, the main focus of the exploration is on identifying legal arguments to confirm or wave aside the provisions of professional ethics which regulate the activities of international and Ukrainian journalists in the preparation of materials concerningchildren.

A scientific studying of the problem of the standards of co-work of the journalist with children and on topics concerning on children is updated by the importance of children’s rights protection in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to find out whether national moral norms of journalism contain answers to the main issues of the journalistic practice in the branch of the interaction with children.
