The article is targeted at the examination of quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the articles in the US print media — dedicated to the inauguration of Volodymyr Zelensky as Ukraine’s new President in May 2019. In this paper the author is describing particular traces of analytical reporting and prognosis performed by American print press authors covering international political issues.

The article analyzes the problematic moments of the implementation of international legal requirements in the system of implementation of the national state educational policy. This article examines voter eligibility/electoral qualifications as a fundamental part of universal suffrage. The authors use as a basis the typology of electoral qualifications, which provides for their division into 3 major groups: technical, protective and discriminative. In this study, we made a detailed analysis of the electoral limitations belonging to each of these three groups. In particular, among technical qualifications, special attention is paid to the analysis of age, citizenship, capacity, and residency requirements.

This article explores the concept of legal values of civil society and its relationship with the legal consciousness of citizens and the democratic transformation. Such basic legal values as freedom, equality, justice, private property, protection of rights and freedoms of man and citizen are characterized. It analyzed the need for a clearly developed and rationalized democratic ideology as the foundation for the further development of legal values of civil society in Ukraine is analyzed.
