Existing domestic technical facilities for setting up and checking current protection are mainly based on analogue devices, which do not provide the required check accuracy but are time-consuming. With the appearance of digital testing systems, a protection check can be automated. An appropriate algorithm and its digital implementation have been developed for the automatic check of current protection characteristics using a digital testing system.
