               The article analyzes the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on election processes and election results.

The authors of the article have developed methodological grounds, designed and constructed an information system to implement protected voting. The analysis of the main ways of using information technology in voting area has resulted in the finding that mobile devices with certain software can significantly reduce the number of visits to polling stations, which make political voting much more accessible to people. The authors have designed the information system using a structural approach and design model Data Flow Diagrams (DFD).

The article outlines the main provisions of the Draft Election Code of Ukraine adopted
by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on November 7, 2017, in its first reading. The attention
was paid to the positive provisions of the project and revealed a number of shortcomings.
Possible ways of its improvement are offered, in particular, to simplify the structure of the
code, the form of presentation of individual norms, to improve the definition of the terms in
the project and the date of their definition at the beginning of the code, and so on.

Research is dedicated to the consideration of certainty and separation stages of the election process in the election of President of Ukraine, deputies of Ukraine, local elections and clarify important boundaries defining stages and deadlines for the passage of the electoral process as a whole.

The study focuses on the issues of legislative ensuring of the election process in Ukraine,
the problems of forming the system of election legislation of Ukraine on the basis of which the
election process for the elections of the President of Ukraine, people's deputies of Ukraine,
deputies of local councils and village, town and city heads, developing proposals for its
improvement
