UNCERTAINTIES OF THE ESTIMATORS AND PARAMETERS OF DISTRIBUTION IN MEASUREMENTS WITH MULTIPLY OBSERVATIONS

The article shows that the commonly used method of estimating the Type A uncertainty of measurements based on the standard deviation of estimators of population parameters does not meet the definition of uncertainty. For correct determination of the standard uncertainty, it is necessary to use the distribution of the corresponding population parameter at the values of population estimators determined from the experiment but not the probability distribution of the estimator.

Application of a Fuzzy Particle Filter to Observe a Dynamical System States in Real Time

One of the key problems in the implementation of closed-loop control systems is to measure all states of a dynamic system, especially, when there are severe environmental conditions. Consequently, the use of certain types of sensors is impossible for technical or economic reasons. Also, in electromechanical systems, there are a lot of values that cannot be directly measured by physical sensors. Thus, mathematical algorithms named as observers and estimators are in use to calculate the states of the dynamic system utilizing math model and available set of sensors.

Methods of parametric sensitivity reduction of a field-oriented controlled drive

The well-known problem of parametric sensitivity of a field oriented controlled induction motor drive is considered. The analytical method is offered for parametric sensitivity investigation. Using the results obtained with this method and results obtained by the mathematical models, conclusions are drawn and recommendations for the parametric sensitivity reduction are made. The effective method for the identification of IM parameters at a standstill is proposed.
