The historical events and geopolitical processes that affected and have influence on the Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine are analysed. The NATO-Ukraine relationship in the period of Russian aggression and “hybrid war” are considered and the factors that can become decisive for global and regional security are examined.
The definition of information warfare, forms and kinds of information wars, and their action against Ukraine are revealed. The concrete examples of impacts of information and propaganda on different spheres and layers of Ukrainian society are given.
The article identifies key problems on the path of energy security and the role of NATO in solving them. The Alliance’s position on the energy issue has been determined. The documents of the NATO summits in Bucharest in 2008, in Chicago in 2012, and the NATO 2010 Strategic Concept have been analyzed. It turned out that the Alliance has divided its role into three areas: raising awareness; protecting critical energy infrastructure and deepening energy efficiency in the military. The role of Centers of Excellence, their specialization, and goals have been investigated.
The article raises the problem of maintaining journalism information standards in conditions of the hybrid war. The regional mass-media of Donetsk and Luhansk regions are 4 analyzed as nearest to the media zone and those who are exposed to information influence of someone else’s propagation (propaganda). The attention is drawn to the inadmissibility of legitimization of separatist groups in ORDLO (separate districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions) in social consciousness.
The article deals with the structural components of image appeal Ukraine in conditions of conducting hybrid war on materials of TV channels «1 + 1» and Regional State TV «Zaporizhzhia».The image of the state is considered as an asset, which provides inflow of investments, development of economy, culture. Recommendations on improvement of work the given direction on the Ukrainian telechannels are submitted.
