Research on the use of the Landsat 7 ETM + satellite image to map the natural and cultural values of the cross-border area
In the paper the main aspects of the research project „The concept of the image map of a transboundary natural region” are addressed. The description of the research area from the view point of natural values is presented together with the project aims, range and the achieved results. Particular attention is given to modelling of the satellite image being the map backdrop accountable for increasing map legibility.
