Krosno zone

Prospects of the prospecting of hydrocarbon deposits in oligocene sediments of the Crosno zone

By data of laboratory research of the core the presence of rocks with low capacitive-filtration properties with crack-pore and pore-crack types in oligocene sediments of the Krosno zone is established. The methane with of it first homologes (ethane, propane, butane) predominate in the composition of migrating paleofluids and it allow to carry a study territory for gas-bearing. It draw a conclusion that prospects of the discovery here new hydrocarbon fields will be concerned predominantly with the gas of packed collectors.

The chaotic formations of the south-western part of the Krosno zone are the products of forming and evolution of the Dukla nappe (Ukrainian Carpathians)

The geological setting the mixtites from the Western part of the Krosno zone in the Ukrainian Carpathians is determited more exactly, the classification of these mixtites and the model of forming ones are proposed on the basis of special investigation of the chaotic complexes and geological structure of the region. At the front of the Duklja nappe the two types of the depositional sequenses are distinguished which was named 'autochthonous” and “allochthonous” ones.
