Investigations of anomalous magnetic field and its dynamics upon the oil and gas deposits of Bilche-Volycka zone

The results of geomagnetic observations in hydrocarbons deposits zones in the NW part of the Carpathian foredeep’s Bilche-Volycka zone were studied. Peculiarities of local magnetic field and its dynamic temporal variations were investigated. It was stated that upon oil and gas deposits are observed static and dynamic local anomalies connected with supervising tectonic displacements. The conclusion about genetic correlation between local anomalies and oil-and-gas content in the investigated deposits was done.

Investigations of modern geodynamic processes by tectonomagnetic method in the region of Rivne nuclear electric station disposition

The results of tectonomagnetic investigations in the region of Rivne nuclear electric station disposition are presented. The zones of anomalous temporal changes of geomagnetic field are found out and theirs connection with neotectonic active deep faults (Goryn' and Chartoriysk) is showed. The interpretation of tectonomagnetic anomalies is done for the models of vertical and sloping contacts (faults) on base of electrokinetic effect. The quantitative estimations of elastic strain changes in the fault zones testify about their moderate modem tectonic activity.
