Derivation of analytical dependencies for determining stiffness parameters of vibration isolators of vibratory machine

Problem statement. While designing vibration isolators, the essential attention should be paid to the safety factors such as the levels of vibration and noise, as well as to the material and the structure of isolators. In major vibratory technological equipment, there are used full-metal vibration isolators, which can be designed in the form of coil (cylindrical, conical, helico-spiral) or flat (leaf-type, disc-type) springs.

Analysis and improvement of design diagrams and mathematical models of vibratory lapping machines

Problem statement. The development of energy-efficient and high-performance vibratory lapping machines demands the improvement of their design diagrams and calculation techniques. Purpose. The main objectives of this research consist in detailed analysis of existent design diagrams and mathematical models of vibratory lapping machines; designing the three-mass hanger-type structures of such machines providing circular oscillations of laps; derivation of differential equations describing the motion of their oscillatory systems.

MODELLING THE PROCESS OF DRESSING THE LAPS OF VIBRATORY FINISHING MACHINE

The purpose of the paper. Substantiation of structure (design), parameters and operation modes of the improved vibratory finishing machine. Analysis of dynamical processes which occur during “lap over lap” dressing. Investigation methodology. Mathematical model of motion of the mechanical system of vibratory finishing machine was developed on the basis of Lagrange differential equations of the second order. For the purpose of describing friction between the working surfaces of the laps, the Coulomb friction model was used.
