Synthesis, Biological and Acidic Properties of Novel 2-Methoxy-6-[(3-Alkyl/Aryl-4,5-Dihydro-1H- 1,2,4-Triazol-5-one-4-yl)-Azomethin]-Phenyl p-Nitrobenzoate Derivatives

3-Alkyl/Aryl-4-amino-4,5-dihydro-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-ones (2) reacted with 2-(p-nitrobenzoxy)-3-methoxybenzaldehyde (3) to afford the corresponding 2-methoxy-6-[(3-alkyl/aryl-4,5-dihydro-1H-1,2,4-triazol-5-one-4-yl)-azomethin]-phenyl p-nitrobenzoates (4). The acetylation reactions of compounds 4 were investigated, and 5 type N-acetyl derivatives were obtained. The newly synthesized compounds were fully characterized. Also, in vitro antibacterial activities of the fourteen new compounds were screened against six bacteria according to agar well diffusion method.

INFLUENCE OF GARLIC EXTRACT ON TEST-CULTERES OF FUNGUSES

The effect of alcoholic garlic extract on the test culture of the fungi Penicillum chryzogenum, Candida lypolitica, Aspergillus niger, as a potential antifungal drug is considered in the article. This is due to the presence of a complex of biologically active compounds with antimicrobial properties and their successful extraction in the experimental conditions. The relevance of the chosen topic is justified by the fact that the development of pharmaceuticals has led to an increase in various antifungal agents in the pharmaceutical market.

Arylsubstituted Halogen(thiocyanato)amides Containing 4-Acetylphenyl Fragment. Synthesis, Cyclization and Antimicrobial Properties

3-(4-Acetylphenyl)-(2-methyl)-2-chloro(bromo, thiocyanato)propanamides have been obtained via copper catalytic anionarylation of acrylic and methacrylic acids amides by 4-acetylphenyldiazonium salts. 5-(4-Acetylphenyl)substituted 2-aminothiazol-4(5H)-ones were synthesized by cyclisation of thiocyanatoamides. All synthesized compounds were tested for their antibacterial and antomycotic activity.

This paper is related to 3,3'- [4,4'-Biphenyl(methane, sulfone)bis(2-chloro(bromo, thiocyanato)-(2-methyl)propanamides)]which were synthesized by reactions of chloro-, bromo- and thiocyanatoarylation of acrylamide and methacrylamide with aromatic bisdiazonium salts. The antimicrobial activity of obtained compounds was studied. Реакціями хлоро-, бромо- та тіоціанатоарилювання амідів акрилової і метакрилової кислот ароматичними солями бісдіазонію синтезовані 3,3’-[4,4’-дифеніл(метан, сульфон)біс(2- хлоро(бромо, тіоціанато)-(2-метил)пропанаміди)] та вивчена їх протимікробна активність.
