The stressed-deformed state of the double-coated rod part of a bucket pump is researched. The coating has a steel base and some aluminum sputtering; the part of upper aluminum layer gets affected by microarc oxidation then. A non-homogeneous beam model, which has a multiple cross section and the varying parameters of elasticity and strength, is studied. Primarily, the model is kept within normal rod load; secondarily, it is put to the emergency, caused by the wearing of crosshead and frame rails friction couple.

The great number of theoretical and experimental investigations indicate that it is necessary to consider plastic deformation of metals as a process which proceeds in certain time interval. In order to describe different mechanical effects, new models of plastic medium are being improved. The phenomenon of emergence of a tooth yield in the strain diagram belongs to such properties of materials.
