Epicenters of East-European platform earthquakes within the Ukraine territory by data of instrumental supervisions and their connection with tectonics
The epicenters of earthquakes with magnitude M = 3,0–3,8 and less, registered at the Eastern European platform within the territory of Ukraine during the years 1963–2007, coincide with fault zones of the Earth's crust. The earthquake focus of December 25, 2007, M = 3,7 is located in the district of KrivorozhskoKremenchugskiy fault. According to the data of DSS it is determined that there are significant differences in the figures of layer velocities and in the cover thickness of the Moho surface on the opposite sides of the faults.
