INTERNATIONAL CARPATHIAN SCHOOL IN KOSIV: EXPERIENCE OF IMPLEMENTATION AND PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT

The International Carpathian School is an educational project aimed at disseminating the Sustainable Development concept among local communities in Ukrainian Carpathians. Currently, the School combines the educational resources of 30 universities, including six foreign ones from the Baltic region and Georgia. The School curricula highlight issues of climate change, biodiversity conservation, municipal waste management and tourism business. Partner universities of the Baltic Sea Region are sharing their best experience in overcoming their post-Soviet heritage.

ENVIRONMENTAL INDICATORS FOR ASSESSING THE STATE OF THE RURAL TERRITORIAL COMMUNITY IN THE CONTEXT OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

The article discusses the essence and concept of sustainable development, the results of the agro-ecological assessment of the given territorial community lands, and determines the indicators of the goals of sustainable development that can be used in the local territories. The author has worked on scientific materials in Ukrainian and international professional publications and outlined the prospects for further scientific research in this direction. The general scientific, ecological, sociological, and mathematical research methods are used in the work.

Formation of global health strategy: institutional dimension

Problem setting. The strategies for a safe, fair and healthy world by 2030, which are supported by the governments, are identified by the goals of sustainable development and laid the foundation for launching the integration of specific measures concerning the maintenance of health in various fields and sectors. New challenges, the healthcare system is facing, forces governments to review health policy and managerial approaches in this direction.

ANALYSIS OF THE UKRAINIAN CITIES’ SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY ON THE EXAMPLE OF LVIV

The world tendencies of popularization of ecological elements of sustainable mobility and the results of their introduction in Lviv on the way to sustainable development are considered in the article. Examples of implementation of the Sustainable Mobility Plan in the city in accordance with the set priorities are given: residents, public transport, ecological means of transportation, private transport. The development of infrastructure for individual environmental means of mobility and public transport is analyzed.
