This study conceptually assesssed household resilience to water supply and sanitation deficit in Nigeria. It expressed water supply and sanitation situation in Nigeria in terms of historical background and organisation structure of water supply and sanitation and highlighted cases of water supply and sanitation across states and geopolitical zones to reflect the precarious water supply and sanitation condition in Nigeria.

At the present stage, detailed plans of rural settlements should include areas where water intake wells, pumping stations, and treatment facilities can potentially be located.Otherwise, when preparing project documentation, there is often a problem with non-compliance with sanitary zones of buildings, construction in cramped conditions.

The article describes the stages of professional formation and scientific priorities of Professor Dariusz Kowalski - completed schools, acquired degrees and professional experience, as well as a list of the most important publications. The following is a description of the main scientific research results and possibilities for their practical application.

Контроль і управління якістю води є одним із засобів санітарної охорони водойм від антропогенних забруднень та забезпечення максимальної продуктивності водних екосистем і раціонального використання водних ресурсів.Водопостачання м. Нововолинська  здійснюється з Північного та Південного водозаборів комунального підприємства «Нововолинськводоканал». В рік видобувається близько 5,5 млн м3 питної води. Загальний обсяг стічних комунальних, промислових, шахтних вод, які скидаються після очищення в річку Західний Буг становить близько 4,6 млн м3 води.
