The Archetypical Approach to Contemporary Ukrainian Social Activities’ Researches: the Experience of the Ukrainian School of Archetypes

This article is a part of series of review materials published by the author in the framework of the study “Archetypical and Axiological Determination of Activity: Social-Philosophical Analysis”. The author justifies that the archetypical approach provides a lot of qualitative scientific researchers, which have been carried out in Ukraine, covering the role and mechanisms of influence of archetypes upon social life.

Also, the author considers the activity of the Ukrainian School of Archetypes and gives survey of its activities, which demonstrate the productivity of the archetypical approach, when is used for exploring different types of social practice. The report of the 10th theoretical and methodological seminar “Archetypes and Public Administration: Strategies for Sustainable Development under the Conditions of Civilization Shifts” was used. The topics of participants’ papers are presented, in order to help orient readers through the latest directions of applications of the archetypical approach. In addition, the author suggests the necessity to develop a series of games with archetype characters for secondary schools and colleges’ students, test methods for determination of the leading archetypal-axiological symbol of social activity, an integrated course of professional self-determination.
