The influence of dysfunctional managers’ behavior on the quality of working environment in organizations

In a dynamically changing environment, organization sure constantly looking for the ways to increase their efficiency and thus the competitiveness. Currently, practitioners and theoreticians of management increasingly pay attention to the quality of the workplace. That allows acquiring and retaining candidates with higher qualifications, motivating them and thereby increasing efficiency. But unfortunately this quality is often lowered by dysfunctional behavior of managers who should be most interested in the healthy functioning of the organization.
The purpose of this article is to present the behavior and characteristics of the manager, which may adversely affect the quality of jobs and causedys functions and pathologies. As a contrast it is presented the characteristics of the organization friendly for staff, that builds the trust and increase motivation.
There are many factors that may adversely affect the motivation. The most common of them (the source of which are managers) include: the creation and acceptance of a bad climate in the team, tolerating "toxic" environment in the organization, isolating workers from the information, creating an atmosphere of unhealthy competition, favoring heir favorite employees, unfair promotion and remuneration of employees, changing employee son "their", ordering members of the execution of useless stuff(for example. never by any one not watched), lack of respect for staff and poor communication between them and the leaders and many others.
Many managers believe that managing people is the most difficult task, indicating that the creation of a healthy, free from pathology organization is not easy. But only so employees feel good, they want to work an dare motivated to achieve the best results.
