Analysis of Efficiency of Technical Condition of Heat Exchanger of Spent Fuel Pool Cooling System with WWER-1000 Reactor of Nuclear Power Plant

The main factors affecting the elements of the heat exchanger of the spent fuel pool cooling system during operation are considered. The analysis of design, technical and operational documentation is carried out for the purpose of preliminary assessment of the technical condition of the heat exchange equipment of nuclear power plants. The data on the installed capacity and service life of power units of the Ukrainian NPPs are given.

Mathematical Modelling of Heat Transfer System of Convective Heating Surfaces of TPP-210А Steam Boiler

A mathematical model and the respective structural scheme of the convective heating surfaces of the TPP-210А steam boiler were developed as a system of interconnected heat exchangers. The interconnected convective heating surfaces are regarded as the convective heat transfer system of the boiler.

This article describes the results of the technical and economic calculations and analysis of the economic efficiency of the project of reconstruction of waste water treatment plant. Lviv and construction of biogas plants for the production of electricity and thermal energy from sludge and excess activated sludge resulting from waste water treatment. The main elements of the technological scheme of biogas is methane tanks, and electrical and thermal energy – cogeneration units.
