The article reveals the peculiarities of creating a professional culture of officials in public authorities, outlines the relevance of the article’s topic and provides an analysis of the status of scientific research of the issue. The main definitions of the concept of ‘professional culture’ have been studied. The article analyzes distinctive peculiarities of managers’ culture and the factors affecting the creation of a professional culture of public authority officials.

Integrity as a component of activities of public officials in the context of the fight against corruption

The article analyzes the content of the principle of integrity in the public service. We emphasize that integrity is one of the tools to prevent corruption and an integral part of the civil service culture.

The legal regulation of integrity rules among public officials is studied. Anti-corruption strategies that serve as a guide for overcoming corruption in the state are analyzed.

Analysis of ideas of the good and the evil by Augustine the Blessed by Russian religious philosophers (the end of the 19th century - beginning of the 20th century)

Seeking to study in detail the problem of the good and the evil in the Russian religious philosophy, one can not avoid considering of patristic philosophy. Although the majority of Russian religious philosophy of the end of the 19th – beginning of the 20th century have “affection” attitude to Eastern Christianity, Western patristic attitude to Russian thinkers was not unambiguous. Speaking about the Russian heredity of the Eastern traditions of Christianity, it is worth noting that it takes from the latter commitment to integrity as a proper state of the world and the man.

K. Twardowski’s ethical legacy in its modern retrospection (the 150th anniversary of birth)

In the article, the author analyses views of the founder of the Lviv-Warsaw philosophical school, K. Twardowski, on the nature and origin of the morality and correlation principles of the altruism and egoism in human nature which are set forth in his program work «Ethics in the range with theory of evolution». The article asserts that, being an adherent of evolution theory, K. Twardowski argued that there were no innate norms of morality. Ethical norms are the product of evolutionary development as to their relative and variable character.
