The objective of this study was to investigate a comprehensive characterization of composition profiles of the apricot pomace extract (Prunus armeniaca L) depending on the used solvent systems. The propan-2-ol, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane and the mixture of the apricot pomace extracts are characterized by IR, UV-visible spectroscopy and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GС-MS) techniques.
The structure of an emulsion formed in wastewater from edible oils production has been investigated. The type of emulsifier has been determined and the method of emulsion destruction has been proposed, providing further quality treatment of wastewater via liquid-extraction method. The resulting equilibrium and operating lines of the process were received. The number of transfer stages has been determined. The mathematical model of liquid-extraction wastewater treatment was built.
Medicinal plants contain many biologically active substances (BAS), which have a diverse influence on the human body and animals, so used for the prevention and treatment of diseases in medical, folk and veterinary practices. The current state of the environment in Ukraine does not allow the use of most plants as medicinal raw materials, so obtaining plants biomass in vitro is an alternative method. Advantages of the method can get a large amount of biomass, regardless of the season, environmental conditions and other factors.
The characteristics of the commercial mineral oils produced in Ukraine, as well as straight-run oil distillates and extract of oil production is described. The mentioned products may be used as oil base of lubricants to form glassworks. The oils MS-20 and I-40 are found to be the best. Охарактеризовано товарні мінеральні оливи, вироблені в Україні, а також прямо- гонні оливні дистиляти і екстракти оливного виробництва, які можуть бути використані як оливна основа мастильних рідин для формування скловиробів. Встановлено, що найкращі властивості мають нафтові оливи МС-20 та І-40.
The oxidation process of the paraffin gas condensate residual has been studied to obtain road bitumen. The investigation results concerning the residual joint oxidation with extract of oil selective treatment and low-paraffin tars are presented. It has been determined that bitumen obtained from the residual of paraffin gas condensate treatment does not meet the requirements setting for road bitumen. It is recommended to use the residuals for the production of building or covering bitumen.
