The analysis of the known geological-geophysical data without controversy witness bankruptcy of revision of the established notions about the Pre-Carpathian Foredeep tectonic realisation and Alpine development, which was undertaken by a group of geologists from Lviv. The concept of absence of any genetic connection between the Carpathians and the molasse depression on the platform foundation (the external zone at the Carpathians' front) lacks any factual and theoretic basis.

Purpose. The purpose of the researches is to provide effective forecasting of landslide hazard of the local level. Methodology. The methodology consist in complex approach to the analysis of geological and geophysical information obtained from landslide-prone areas.
