was born in Zapytiv, in Lviv region, on January 11, 1944. In 1961, he graduated from Novoyarychiv secondary school with a medal. From 1961 to 1969, he studied at the Physics Faculty of Ivan Franko Lviv University. From 1964 to 1967, Vasyl served in the army. He studied at the graduate school from 1969 to 1971. He defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences at the Institute of Atomic Energy in 1982. He defended his thesis for the degree of doctor of physical and mathematical sciences in 2007. He worked as a leading engineer at SKB “Polyaron”, a senior employee, at the Institute of Physics and Mechanics, and associate professor and professor at Lviv Polytechnic University and the National Academy of Ground Forces. He is currently working as a professor in the electronic computer cafe of the National Academy of Sciences.
