Improvement of the Ecological Safety of Road Transport in the Use of Alternative Fuel and Exhaust Converters

The aim of the research was to reduce ecological danger caused by vehicles through the use of combined fuel and improved designs converters of exhaust gases. The use of obsolete structures of a catalytic analyzer on cars and the provision of periodic purging of catalytic units can significantly reduce soot emissions without making changes to the design of the engine. It was established that the use of a mixture of diesel fuel with biofuels (made involving waste) reduces the toxicity of exhaust gases by 30–35 % and saves hydrocarbons.

Analysis and choice of optimal conditions for the burning of natural gas with heated air in the reactor of carbon black obtaining

The mixing and burning of natural gas with heated air in the reactor of carbon black obtaining have been analyzed. Commercial test results for the device of partially premixed components with single-flow burner have been considered. Construction peculiarities and operational conditions of single- and multi-flow burners have been examined.

Smart conductive inks

A novel conductive ink, suitable for employment in a pressure-sensitive automatic system, was prepared and characterized via scanning electron microscopy, FTIR and differential scanning calorimetry. The ink was obtained as a composite by mixing a solution of ethyl acrylate-methyl acrylate (50/50 ratio) copolymer and carbon black and graphite into a solvent standard for acrylic polymers. The ink average electrical resistance ranges from 40 ohms/cm to 150 ohms/cm.
