Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources as Alternative Primary Energy Sources in the Region

Traditionally organized in the Lviv Polytechnic National University attracts the attention the international organizations and responsible structures in this region. Topics of the conference are dedicated to actual questions of development of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, opportunities for greater using of local and new sorts of fuel, and implementation of energy efficient technologies.

Lviv region is one of three regions of Ukraine reserves of renewable energy sources. How most effectively we can replace traditional energy to green energy, which technology and equipment we should use - these and other issues will be the subject of our discussions at the conference based on the objectives of the National Action Plan on renewable energy for the 2020 year and the commitment of Ukraine to reduce carbon emissions according to the Paris Agreement signed in 2016, on combating climate change.

We hope that our meeting will be fruitful and efficient in fixing of the initiatives and establishing of new ones for distribution of positive experiences. For this purpose there are all pre-conditions, including that one, that the Conference will be held in Lviv – the  pearl of Ukraine.
