The system of social services in Ukraine: structural and functional dimensions

The article considers the organization of the system of social services in modern Ukraine. Social services have been structured according to their types and addressing directions: services in education and science sectors; services in social, medical and health sectors; services in the sphere of personal social and professional adaptation. The functional aspect of social service delivery is studied.

Problem setting. Modern democratic development of Ukraine is accompanied by the emergence of acute socio-economic challenges directly related to the quality of life of the population and the necessity for constant attention to them by the state. Problems and challenges of EU social policy in the context of migration crisis are considered in the article. An attitude of individual member states to the migration crisis in Europe is researched. It has been determined that nowadays EU social policy remains a vulnerable area that requires a comprehensive unified approach and appropriate support to all its member states.

Current state of social model

The current type of market economy requires modern ideas of building a welfare state. That is why the international community has identified priority areas, which are the political and legal ordering of society on the principles of humanism, of a government complex social and protective functions, creating conditions for the development of civil society. After the World War II in emerging economies have developed different models of welfare states and therefore different mechanisms of realization of social policy. Social aspects of personnel motivation

The article deals with the social aspects of the personnel motivation in accordance with the current trends of humanization of the economic life and intellectualization of the society. The role of socialization as a motivational policy factor is described. The main tasks of the enterprise social policy are studied and  motivational tools are proposed.
