APPLICATION OF HIGH-ENTROPY ALLOYS IN STRAIN SENSORS

This article investigates the physicochemical properties of the high-entropy alloy MoNbTaVW and its potential application in strain gauge sensors for structural health monitoring of composite constructions, particularly wind turbines. The material’s suitability for accurate mechanical tension measurements is analyzed, taking into account its high thermal stability, resistance to corrosion, and tolerance to radiation exposure. It is demonstrated that MoNbTaVW maintains structural integrity at elevated temperatures, outperforming conventional metals commonly used in sensing systems.

Assessment of the influence of technogenically triggered hydrodynamic processes on groundwater contamination in the area of Kalush mining industry by applying geophysical methods

The aim of the research is to substantiate the scientific foundations of an integrated approach to solving environmental and geological problems related to groundwater salinization in the Kalush mining region; quantitative evaluation of the dynamics of such salinization and its relationship with the river system based on geochemical and geophysical observations.

About the suitability of karst on potash and rock salt deposits by electric methods

Research conducted within Kalush-Golinskii potassium salt deposit. The analysis of symmetry systematic approach errors in the geological interpretation is directed. As a result of interpretation revealed that erosion solt mirrors has  flat character and should be taken into account in predicting the day surface subsidence. The authors proposed new original approaches to complex interpretation of these methods for mapping geological section.
