Pyrolysis of Waste Plastic to Fuel Conversion for Utilization in Internal Combustion Engine

In the present study different plastic waste materials with various types of plastics such as low-density polyethylene and polypropylene with zinc oxide catalyst have been pyrolyzed in batch tubular reactor. Waste plastics were characterized by using TGA and DTG analysis and FTIR spectroscopy. The pyrolyzed products are analyzed by standard methods to determine various parameters.

Wood Sawdust Plus Silylated Styrene Composites with Low Water Absorption

Ecologically friendly composites have been made on the basis of wood sawdust and sillylated styrene as the binder. That binder acts simultaneously as a reinforcing agent. The surface structures were studied by a scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray microanalysis. The bending strength increases with the increase in temperature from 453 to 493 K at the constant pressure of 15 MPa.

Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Activity of Mixed Ligand (Imine of Benzidine and 1,10-Phenanthroline) Complexes with Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) Ions

In this paper, binuclear metal complexes of the metal ions Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) were synthesized by the reaction of the primary ligand (imine of benzidine) (H2L) and the secondary ligand (1,10-phenanthroline) (L`) with these metal ions in a molar ratio of 1:2:2, respectively. The complexes were characterized using CHN elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-Vis, magnetic susceptibility, molar conductivity, 1H NMR, and TGA-DTA thermogravimetric analysis.
