The article is devoted to the study of the essence and content of the issue of protecting children's rights in war conditions, an analysis of Ukrainian realities is carried out and problems of ensuring the principles of international humanitarian law in this area are identified.
The problem of protecting the rights of the child as a victim of exploitation is especially relevant in the context of socio-economic challenges, the spread of hidden forms of forced labor and the inaction of the state to effectively identify such criminal offenses. Child exploitation as a criminal offense encompasses not only economic abuse, but also violations of a child’s fundamental rights to dignity, freedom and security.
The article notes that family law is an important component of the legal system of any state, as it regulates relations between family members, including issues of marriage, divorce, child custody, alimony and other aspects related to family relations. This work compares the family law of Ukraine and the United States, highlighting key differences and common features, as well as their impact on the practice of family relations. The article examines the foundations of family law in both countries, in particular the codes that regulate family relations.
