Galerkin method and qualitative research solutions of nonlinear oscillations unlimited rope considering resistance.
The technique of qualitative solution research in mathematical model of vibrations of semi-infinite elastic bodies is exposed in the article. The equation generalizes the nonlinear wave equation, which is studied in the theory of oscillations. Correctness classes of a generalized solution are obtained.
