Some aspects of public management of scientific activities in higher education institutions under branch reform

This article examines the main aspects of public management of scientific activities in higher education institutions under the branch reform. The article defines the conceptual framework for public management of scientific activities in higher education institutions and reveals functional peculiarities of its organizational and legal mechanisms. On the basis of the analysis of modern approaches to science organization in foreign universities, the article identifies its development and reform trends in the context of their perspective implementation in Ukraine. The innovations, whose implementation can optimize scientific activities of education institutions in Ukraine, are highlighted.
