Improving the efficiency of the legal regulation of fixing damages inflicted to military personnel in the course of combat actions

In the context of the norms of international humanitarian law, the article examines the improvement of the effectiveness of the legal regulation of recording injuries inflicted on servicemen during hostilities. The object of the study is the legal regulation of recording injuries inflicted on servicemen during armed conflicts. The subject of the study is the development of norms used during armed conflicts to record injuries to servicemen.

Annotation. The article is devoted to the study of the norms of international humanitarian law in force in Ukraine regarding prisoners of war and the history of their implementation in the Ukrainian legal field. A thorough analysis of the norms of international humanitarian law and their implementation in national legislation is carried out.

RUSSIAN ARMED AGGRESSION AGAINST UKRAINE – THE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT OF THE TEMPORARILY OCCUPIED TERRITORIES

The armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which has been going on since 2014, caused severe consequences for our state. Besides killing and injuring dozens of thousands of Ukrainian citizens, expelling hundreds of thousands of people from their homes, seizing and destroying infrastructure, Russia has inflicted large-scale environmental damage in the occupied territories. Thus, as a result of the occupation of Crimea, the situation with fresh water on the peninsula is rapidly deteriorating, which can significantly change the ecosystem in the future.
