Synthesis of Some Novel Thiazolo[4,5-b]Pyridines and their Tuberculostatic Activity Evaluation

Structural modification of 5,7-dimethyl-6-phenylazo-3Н-thiazolo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-one relative to the 3rd position of basic heterocycle allows to use its functionalization as the convenient method for the synthesis of various derivatives and diversification of a series of N3 substituted thiazolo[4,5-b]pyridines. The efficient synthetic protocol for aminomethylation proceeding was developed which led to obtaining a series of novel 3-(phenylamino)-methyl derivatives of 5,7-dimethyl-6-phenylazo-3Н-thiazolo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-one.
