Professor Kasper Vajg'el' (1880-1941) the third head of the department of geodesy of Lviv Polytechnic
The article describes the life, organizational, scientific and pedagogic activities of significant Polish survey scientist and photogrammeter. Professor Kasper Weigel was one of founders of (Polish) survey school of Lviv, the third head of the Department of Geodesy (1912–1941) and Chancellor of the Polytechnics of Lviv (1912–1941).
