Procedure for reviewing complaints regarding violations of academic integrity and publication ethics

The editorial board of the journal intends to respond promptly and constructively to all complaints and resolve them. The editorial board and staff of the journal Chemistry, Technology of Substances and Their Application will examine each complaint on a case-by-case basis, taking into account its nature and complexity, and any decision taken will take into account the recommendations provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Suggestions or complaints should be sent to the journal's email address: sjctas@gmail.com. All communications will be reviewed within thirty working days. However, depending on the complexity of the complaint, additional time may be required to complete the investigation.

The complaint should be concise, specific, and contain sufficient data to demonstrate any possible violation of publication ethics. If possible, it is also advisable to provide additional documents supporting the specific claim.

Personal complaints against authors, editors, reviewers, or the editorial board of the journal will be responded to with an explanation of why the complaint was deemed to be outside the scope of the journal's responsibility. In addition, the journal refrains from conducting an investigation when complaints are submitted in an offensive, threatening, or defamatory manner.
