Given the growing popularity of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and other technologies based on its use, as well as the expected increase in their use by authors of scientific publications, the editorial board of the journal has developed a policy on the use of AI.
AI cannot be listed as the author of a manuscript. Texts created with the help of AI may be fragmentary or incorrect, so the author responsible for the entire submitted article is obliged to carefully review the text created with the help of AI and correct it if necessary.
If artificial intelligence and artificial intelligence technologies are used in the work, the author is obliged to make a corresponding statement in their work, providing information about the name of the tool/service and the reasons for its use.
The editorial board reserves the right to check manuscripts for the use of generative artificial intelligence systems. To this end, automated detection tools, expert assessment by reviewers, and additional requests to authors may be used.
Editors do not use artificial intelligence or AI-supported technologies to make decisions that require critical thinking or the formation of any other substantive opinion.
Reviewers do not use artificial intelligence to make decisions that require critical thinking or to form any other substantive opinion about a manuscript.
The editorial board will monitor the development of AI technologies and adjust or refine these rules.
