The choice of the calculation line of the longitudinal enclosing structure on the mountain river in the process of exploration and design is due to the consideration of many regional conditions and anthropogenic factors. The topographic and geological structure of the river valley, the hydrological regime of the river, the level of engineering intervention determine the stability of the channel in the cross section and the possible types of erosion-accumulation process in the river section.
