The notion of multiplicity of a geoecosystem's spatial structure affords to represent the totality of natural conditions of the area with the help of two main overlays- those of landcover units and integrated geomorphological units. The latter characterize landforms, soils, and possible primary vegetation and have hierarchical structure. The integrated approach assures flexibility and comprehensiveness for further environmental modelling.
