PROBABLE LOOK OF THE ANCIENT RUS' TEMPLE OF ST. PETER IN PEREMYSHL ON THE BASIS OF 2015-2017MATERIALS ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH DATA

Based on archaeological research conducted between 2015 and 2017, along with a comparative analysis of related examples of sacred structures from the Rurik period in Halicia and the local traditional architecture, a hypothesis has been formulated regarding the possible design of the ancient Rus church of St. Peter inPeremyshl (Przemyśl), which is believed to have existed from the 12th to the early 15th century.

The Battle of Zboriv is one of the major events in Ukrainian and Polish history.
The Zboriv battlefield was explored by a Ukrainian-American archeological expedition led
by author and archeologist Bogdan Strotsen. The studies lasted several years. The article
covers the history of the Zboriv battle and reveals the main results of archaeological research.
The results of the studies allowed to hypothesize the construction of elements of field
fortifications and to interpret their localization in the territory.

The history of glass under the microscope: from what angles it is worth exploring tutorials

The history of glass is multifaceted and full of mysteries. It is impossible, however, to study glass-making in all its complexity of manifestations by using only historical methods. By the example of Hutta production in the late XV — the 1st half of the XIX centuries the article shows the necessity to use a multidisciplinary approach in order to provide a maximum detailed research of the history of glass.

Archaeological materials of Jaroslav Pasternak in museum collections

This article analyzes the fate of archaeological findings obtained in research famous Ukrainian archaeologist Jaroslav Pasternak, especially during excavations in the princely capitals of Galicia, Zvenigorod, Terebovlia, Belz, Plisnesk. Scientists do not have time to properly organize and explore gathered during the excavation finds. Full reports on the excavations J. Pasternak been published (perhaps they are part of the collection at Harvard University, USA).

On the subject of studying museum collections of glass

Real monuments found during archaeological research, do not often get adequate coverage in the scientific literature. Usually this is due to the priority research areas. The researchers usually refer to their findings only while enumerating the material, and focus their attention on other aspects. This situation is typical for blown products. Therefore, there is a necessary task of studying blown glass complexes located in the museums which were not the subject of a separate research study.
