THE PENTAGONAL TOWER OF MEDZHYBIZH FORTRESS IN THE RESEARCH OF EUGENIA LOPUSHYNSKA
A detailed review and analysis of previous research is required for further study of the structural and functional features of the pentagonal “Knight's” tower in the defensive complex of the Medzhybizh fortress. The tower is located on the northwestern corner of the defensive walls of the Medzhybizh fortress. Its southeastern corner adjoins the modern entrance, and its northeastern corner abut onto the one-story building near the northwestern defensive wall. The tower is partially extended beyond the curtain line.
