Wars change the pace of urban development. Destruction of the material structure and needs of residents provoke a reassessment of approaches to city reconstruction. The experience of rebuilding cities after the Second World War is divided into several stages. They are distinguished by the limit of compromise between conservative and modernist traditions. (Diefendorf. 1989; Bullock, 2002; Harlander 2012). rebuilding the material substance of cities and the problems of preserving and creating the identity of cities are equally important in the process of reconstruction.

The paper presents a methodology for carbon footprint assessment of buildings according to the current European standard. The analytical formulas are proposed to assess the carbon footprint through emissions calculation for the building life cycle including extraction, transportation, and processing of raw materials, construction and installation process, operation, maintenance, and repair, as well as liquidation and disposal. Beyond the life cycle boundaries, the possible benefits from recycling and reuse of building components and materials are considered.

The intelligent system of analysis of architectural and construction company is described in the article. The informative model of such system is projected. Goals, objectives and scope of such a system are defined.

This article describes the formula determining the temperature, velocity and force of wind flow around the buildings. The dependence of wind speed and temperature difference, showing the distribution of aerodynamic coefficients on the facade of the building in different directions of wind flow. The basic building envelope and the effect of surface roughness on the flow around buildings.
