Exploring chaotic dynamics with absolute-embedded sinusoidal nonlinearity in a sinusoidal-enhanced Van der Pol oscillator

The present study aims to analyze the chaotic behavior of a simple electrical circuit with a nonlinear resistor and an absolute value in its sinusoidal nonlinearity function.  This type of circuit is considered fundamental, because it contains both nonlinear capacitance and resistance.  This study investigates into various aspects of the circuit's behavior, with a particular focus on its chaotic properties such as bifurcation, periodicity, resonance, and Lyapunov exponent analysis.  It is essential to highlight that, in addition to its chaotic behavior, the system also

Olexander Kulchytskyi on Modern Philosophy as a Branching of the Crown of One Tree of Knowledge and Life

The foreword to Olexandr Kulchytskyi’s article «Order or Chaos in Modern Philosophy» (1939) analyzes its content from a historical perspective and identifies its current significance. It is assumed that on the eve of the Second World War, the Ukrainian philosopher aimed to interest the Ukrainian public in modern philosophy, as he considered it useful in understanding the political life of the time and effective in counteracting party propaganda.

DAMAGE ANALYSIS AND DETECTION UNDER VARYING ENVIRONMENTAL AND OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS USING A CHAOS THEORY METHODS

The paper is devoted to problem of analysis, identification and prediction of the presence of damages, which above a certain level may present a serious threat to the engineering (vibrating) structures such as different technical systems (hydrotechnical equipment, hydroelectrical station engines, atomic reactors ones etc). Usually change of structural dynamic properties due to environmental, operational and other effects allows to determine the existence, location and size of damages.
