REDUCING THE COMPUTATIONAL COMPLEXITY OF FINITE IMPULSE RESPONSE FILTERS IN INTEGRATED SYSTEMS

The problem of optimizing finite impulse response (FIR) digital filters is relevant in the context of limited computational resources of embedded systems. Existing methods for implementing FIR filters often lead to significant energy consumption and processing time, which limits their application in real-world conditions. The objective of this work is to develop methods for optimizing FIR filters to reduce computational complexity and ensure efficient operation on embedded systems with limited resources.

DIRECTIONS OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF A MACHINE-BUILDING ENTERPRISE ON THE EXAMPLE OF SE “SELPROEKT”

The paper presents the results of analysing the activities of a machine-building enterprise, taking into account the influence of factors of the political and socio-economic crisis. Based on the results of the PEST- and SWOT-analysis, the most promising directions of sustainable development of an engineering enterprise are identified, namely, implementation of energy-efficient solutions, use of circular economy principles, application of environmentally friendly technologies, digitalisation, and personnel training.

AIR FLOW DYNAMICS IN THE CABIN OF A LOW-ENTRY CITY BUS

The paper investigates the dynamics of air flows in the cabin of a low-entry city bus to improve passenger comfort and energy efficiency. The modeling was performed by CFD analysis in Ansys Fluent using the Mercedes-Benz Citaro Hybrid cabin model. Under winter conditions (flow inlet temperature - 27°C, bus body walls - 0°C), the maximum flow velocity reached 3.69 m/s in the doorway area, while insufficient ventilation was found in the front and rear parts of the cabin (velocity <0.8 m/s).

NOVEL CONCEPTS AND DESIGNS OF INERTIAL VIBRATION EXCITERS FOR INDUSTRIAL VIBRATORY EQUIPMENT: A REVIEW

The design and performance of vibration exciters strongly influences the operational efficiency and adaptability of industrial vibratory equipment. Vibratory equipment with such mechanisms is widely used in industries such as mining, construction, food processing, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture, where efficient material handling and precise motion control are critical. Traditional systems face several challenges, including energy inefficiency, limited trajectory control, and a need for more flexibility for diverse industrial applications.

Comparative Analysis of Maximum Power Point Tracking Algorithms for Photovoltaic Panels

The growing demand for electricity and the need for environmentally friendly energy sources are driving the active development of renewable technologies, with solar energy playing a leading role. Photovoltaic (PV) systems are capable of converting solar radiation into electrical energy; however, their efficiency depends on the ability to adapt to changing external conditions, such as solar irradiance and ambient temperature.

Energy-efficient Control of Electric Vehicle Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning System – Performance Optimization and Energy Consumption Reduction

The article addresses the challenge of improving the energy efficiency of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in electric vehicles. Due to the absence of an internal combustion engine in electric vehicles, there is no additional heat source, meaning that HVAC systems consume a significant portion of the battery energy, thereby reducing the vehicle’s range. The aim of this study is to develop an energy-efficient control algorithm for the HVAC system that minimizes energy consumption while maintaining adequate comfort levels for passengers.

HYBRID DRONES WITH DUCTED AND ASYMMETRIC PROPELLERS: EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES AND APPLICATION PROSPECTS

This article presents a comprehensive analysis of hybrid unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) equipped with ducted and asymmetric propellers. The results of experimental studies confirm the advantages of using these types of propellers regarding aerodynamic efficiency, energy efficiency, noise reduction, and improved maneuverability. The possibility of combining asymmetric propellers with ducted designs, as well as their impact on thrust, flight stability, and other flight characteristics of drones, is examined in detail.

IMPROVING THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY OF THERMOELECTRIC ENERGY CONVERTERS – REVIEW

The results of an analytical review of a large number of publications on the problem of improving the efficiency of thermoelectric generators (TEG) over the past decade are presented. An analysis of historical data on the thermodynamic justification of the efficiency of thermoelectric generators is presented.

The need to use enterprise management monitoring in the context of the transition to green energy

In today’s environment, domestic enterprises are increasingly aware of the importance of transitioning to green energy. In this direction, organisations are considering emission standards, using energy-efficient technologies, considering environmental aspects of production, etc. Businesses that reduce their carbon footprint are generally more likely to attract investment. They are also more socially oriented and balanced in terms of sustainable development.
