Stability issues in modern power systems
In the paper, the important issues of the power system stability have been considered. The theoretical backgrounds of small-signal stability analysis for power systems studies and its application for validation of power system dynamic models using transient stability are presented. The considered example of dynamic models validation uses procedures based on the both small-signal stability analysis and time domain simulation.
