This paper is devoted to the problem of neutralization of halogen-containing organic compounds and influence of toxic products of these processes on a human health is considered. Joint gasification of halogen-containing organic compounds and carbon by gas-vapour mixture was investigated, influence of nitrogen on process of utilization of hexachlorobenzene was explored. It is shown under what thermodynamic requirements in products of utilization there are toxic and dangerous substances, such as chloromethane, prussic acid and ammonia.
